Bedok Beach

Client: URA Singapore
Bedok Beach, a master plan for the Bayshore Precinct in Singapore, is a people-centric waterfront village that celebrates its heritage and its surrounding nature. As a powerful symbol of a neighbourhood that is planned to be car-lite, we propose a realignment of the original planned new Bayshore Road to create a pedestrian and car-free community spine at the heart of the neighbourhood. To celebrate the site's heritage, a linear park is created that highlights the original coastline.
